Referral Procedures
March 23rd, 2006
• When you talk to someone who is considering buying or selling a home, ask them if they are currently working with a Real Estate agent. If they aren't, let them know that you work as a Marketing Specialist for Realty Response Connections and ask them if they would allow you to refer them to a Full-Service Realtor® and tell them that you will be receiving a referral fee. In most cases the prospective client will be happy to receive the help. (Tip: Get to know some of the agents that will be handling these transactions and learn as much as you can about Realty Response, Inc. This is a great opportunity to build confidence in the prospective client.)
• Have the prospective client fill-out and sign a referral card and give them your business card.
• Call Realty Response Connections and give them the contact information from the referral card or submit the client's information through the Realty Response Connections website. This information is always kept confidential and secure. The agent section of the website is password protected and all information is sent directly to Realty Response Connections.
• A Realtor® will contact them right away and work diligently to please them!
• Mail the referral card to Realty Response Connections.
• Get Paid! After escrow has closed you will receive your commission check for 80% of the referral fee!
• If you ever have questions, of are not sure of how to handle situation with a prospective or current client, just call the office at 661-273-8838. We will be happy to help you or to speak with the client directly.
† Remember, you do not work with the client in any way. A Realtor® assigned by Realty Response Connections will handle the transaction. In most cases an agent of Realty Response, Inc. will be assigned, but for referrals outside or the areas covered by Realty Response, Inc., an experienced, full-time Realtor® will be assigned from another company.
† If you have a Realty Response agent that you have referred to many times and you are happy with, you may request that that agent be assigned the referral. You may also give out the number for that agent directly to the client. Just remember to send in a signed referral card and submit the client infomation to the company so that you can be paid.
